Transitional Housing:

Temporary Housing with Services Helping People Towards Independence

Orpe Human Rights Advocates will be working in collaboration with local government and non-government agencies for the purpose of finding positive outcomes in favor homeless or at-risk homelessness families, individuals, and veterans. Our programs of transitional housing will be offering a path for individuals and families to end homelessness. Transitional housing is temporary housing combined with supportive services including case management, employment counseling, life-skills training, out of poverty program, assistance with securing benefits and referrals for substance abuse treatment and mental health counseling are provided to help each person in this part of their journey.

FAMILIES

Our transitional housing program is intended to provide safe, stable housing for families experiencing a housing crisis and help them move into independent housing through supportive services. We'll start offering 6 units, and our services include case management, life-skills training, self-sufficient income, and referrals to community resources.

INDIVIDUALS

We are working on a project of 24 bedrooms expected to provide safe, stable housing for men and women experiencing a housing crisis. Our goal is helping them move  into independent housing through supportive services including case management, nursing clinic, and referrals to community resources.

INDIVIDUALS WITH CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY

Through our 24 beds project for pregnant and postpartum women with SUD and their infants, we expect to offer group living and scattered site housing for women struggling with drug and alcohol dependency. Services is expected to include case management, life-skills training, sufficient-income program, and referrals to community resources.
