Restoring Hope

At Orpe Human Rights Advocates, you find support and resources you need that will help you restore hope. Services include legal services, counseling and Case management, and Domestic Violence Hotline. Our highly trained expert advocates are available 24/7 to talk confidentially with anyone in the United States who is experiencing domestic violence, seeking resources or information, or questioning unhealthy aspects of their relationship.

 

The Hotline provides lifesaving tools and immediate support to empower victims and survivors to find safety and live free of abuse. We also provide support to friends and family members who are concerned about a loved one. Resources and help can be found by calling our Summit Ministry Center Hotline at 1-888-000-000. During the regular operational hours you can our Summit Ministry Center at 410-888-0000, or Email us at info@orpe.org. You can also call the National Domestic Violence Center Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233). If you live in Howard County you can call also call the Hotline of Grassroots at 410-531-6677. Grassroots Business Tel. 410-531-6006. You can also call Maryland help line at 211. Individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing may use TTY 1-800-787-3224.  Additionally, advocates who are Deaf are available 24/7 through the National Deaf Hotline by video phone at 1-855-812-1001, Instant Messenger (DeafHotline) or email (nationaldeafhotline@adwas.org).

 

If it’s not safe for you to call, or if you don’t feel comfortable doing so, another option for getting direct help is to use the National Domestic Violence live chat service. You’ll receive the same one-on-one, real-time, confidential support from a trained advocate as you would on the phone. Chat is available every day from 24/7/365. Counseling Ministry

The Summit International Ministry of the Orpe Human Rights Advocates has first mission of making you discover Jesus Christ. Through the guidance of God, Pastor Dr. Robert Fetcher and Pastor Suzy offered themselves to serve the causes of those who cannot assert their own fundamental rights. They were joined by Mrs. Zora Moises and Dr. Edward Tusamba Moises to brink alive the theology of love and advocate to make you experience a real God in real men. Through their model, you finally will discover that the true purpose of your existence is love, which is the primary requirement in the path of channeling Jesus Christ in your life, who his the source of peace and hope.

Help for Survivors
Are you struggling after leaving an abusive relationship? Survivors may face ongoing emotional or safety concerns but there are methods for surviving and thriving after abuse. The secret is Jesus Christ. The Summit Ministry Center, through the  ministry of Pastor Robert (Bob) Fetcher and Pastor Suzy will intercede God on your behalf. As a renewed soul, will be surrounded by a family composed of brothers and sisters in Jesus. This family is driven by energy of Jesus Christ and will you remain in a safe environment of light and peace.

Help for Abusive Partners
If you identify as abusive or you’re concerned that your behaviors may be unhealthy or harmful to your partner, we can help. Learn about the potential for change. Summit International Ministry Center programs designed in transforming lives in direction of finding Jesus Christ. After finding Jesus 
your will be exposed to a variety of opportunities deemed to change your life for better. From personal development program, career development programs to leadership development programs, you will be driven in a direction ethical values and moral decision-making will challenge your personal behaviors.

Legal Aid
If you are considering taking legal action against an abusive partner, learn more about your options and rights. Orpe Human Rights Advocates has on its structure has a department of legal services focused on advocating, and defending the interests of its clients. From legal consultations to legal representation in civil cases, OHRA has lawyers, and social workers who advocates and address all issues related to legal representations before the courts or administrative  institutions. OHRA offers legal services in programs involving domestic violence, victims of sexual assault, victims of human trafficking, and immigration matters.,including  refugee, and asylum. It provide legal assistance in the case of eviction prevention.
